Turn the iMac off, the internet is back to normal.Ĭreating a new Location in Network did not work, cycling the power on the modem and router did not work, unplugging the iMac did not work, etc. Once the iMac is on connectivity is good for a few minutes, then I lose the internet for a minute, then back on for a couple of minutes, then back off for a minute, atc. Again, I have many devices that have perfect connectivity until the iMac is powered up. The WiFi is working as advertised, it's the internet connection that is causing the problem. I have searched for a solution and tried many different ones, to no avail. ![]() When the iMac is on, the Internet becomes intermittent for all devices. With the iMac turned off, my iPad, mini iPad, android phone, and windows laptop all have good internet connections. ![]() Since upgrading to El Capitan on my iMac my internet connectivity has been intermittent. ![]()
